tc2 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Ive ended up with 2 guitars that do about the same thing....the newest find is a Epi Casino Elitist 1965 reissue in sunburst.. Looks like the Beatles 1966.this is the real nice deluxe version that is pissing all the people that ran out and bought the John Lennon signature limited ed. only to find out they are the same guitar. except Epi turns the truss rod or does a few tweaks and says it was assembled here.The elitist has German hardware and American p-90s.sounds fantastic. Dont be confused this is way nicer than the Korean models, has thinner finish and one piece neck like the real vintage model.I used it for one practice and put it back in the case so its like brand new, comes with a special Elitist deluxe hard case cool purple and black crocodile covering.I need something a lil different for the band Im in...looking for a Gretsch or a Rickenbacker 360-12. or I will take cash offerers (sells for 1400.00).
