Buster Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Can't find anything about the MV-982 on the web...I understand it to be similar to the MV-962, however, in a single space rack. Can anyone tell me anything about them...perhaps what a good price on one may be (as I have a line on one)...thoughts and opinions appreciated.I should note that I plan to run a pedal board of sorts with OD's/distortions, delay, and eq through a PV Valverb reverb unit, into the power amp, into a Peavey Triple XXX 212 cabinet (it's convertable so either open or closed). Thanks,Erik
silentman Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Send a PM or Email Pesocaster. He used to work for tube works. I have a 962 that I really like. My only complaint is it's heavy for being solid state.
silentman Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 You might also try contacting Genz Benz. Their website has old Tube Works manuals, but the one you are inquiring about is not there. I sent them an email when I had some questions about my tube works stuff and they responded. I also sent an email to BK Butler himself from his website and he answered some questions too.
pesocaster Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 982, is a single spaced version of the 962. the only difference is its power bridgable as a mono unit. Ta-da!
