Guest galejt Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 That's the ugliest guitar I have ever seen. Sell it to me!
Guest Scott_F Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Many Scotch-induced battle scars from my uncle who owned it since he was in college. I can't tell ya how many times I got to see him playing on it while I had my ovataion. He'd tell me, here play my Martin. "uh, no thanks, I love my Ovation" (this was in my way younger days...)He'd just laugh at me a bit and tell me that as soon as I learned to drink Scotch, I'd be old enough to appreciate a Martin. I never quite understood that for many a year. It's a cool old guitar and best of all, I don't have to worry about messing it up too much. It's already been there and done that.
BruceM Posted August 18, 2005 Posted August 18, 2005 Yeah, those guitars are definitely keepers. Thanks for the photos! I've got a beat up old Yamaha from the 70's (no Martin, I know) that will someday be passed on to a niece or nephew.
