Chapparals pre 88 switching system

What are the combinations available with the three mini toggles on pre88 hamer chapparals??? I know that at the down position of each mini toggle activates each pickup but what if for ex. the mini toggle that controls the neck pickup is in the down position and the mini toggle for the bridge pickup is in the UP position??? Is that out of phase????

Yes. That is out of phase.

Middle position is off though. Which was a HUGE pain in the ass in a live situation. Those little ass sharp pointed toggles, and the throw on them was REAL short.

I was blowing past the p/ups I needed ALL the time.

Had a Hamer 3 way switch installed in the bridge position, and plugged the remaining two holes with vinyl half-dome plugs. Worked out perfectly.
