86 Black Phantom A5 w/Floyd, 6 in line headstock, hum/single p-u in bridge, single in neck, 24 fret, rosewood board, black hardware. Got it in '88 new. Still have it, again. Thanks to the watchful eye of a certain BCRGreg after I foolishly sold it a few years ago, and it boomeranged back to his store. Thanks bro'!

Very sorry to hear of your loss. No matter what the means, it's never any easier to handle losing a parent, or any loved one for that matter. I lost my father when I was 15, and to this day, although I've gotten on with my life, that stays with me, and maybe as it should, to keep him in my mind...to remember him, and all the good things about him when I was with him. My deepest sympathy to you and the rest of your family.

Playing Hamers or not, who's your most favorite recent discovery? Even though they're ESP players, mine definitely has to be Symphony X. Great technicality, but a great sense of melody, and they can groove in the pocket when necessary. Just a great new sound, great production, and very strong writing. For those of us who are into progressive heavy rock, they are definitely the top group, for me at least.

I'd be down with just getting together and doing everything else just like we always do, except the tour, which frankly has gotten REAL old, and boring. Sure it's nice to be there, but there's nothing new going on. I'd rather be spending the vacation time off of work having a blast with my friends, and not on any stinking early ass schedule. ya know?

" :-) I figured I'd make trying to sell something a little more fun. But yes, it has the original locking fine tuners for the tuning machines, and the truss rod cover plate. The only thing that's not original, is the neck p/u is an HS-3. That pic is the only one I have of it, and I usually keep the locking fine tuners off, since I kept it set up properly, that it didn't hardly go out of tune at all. And the truss cover was off since I regularly maintained a proper neck curvature. Anyone interested, contact BCRGreg. Thanks.... Jim
