blitz tremolo arm

I have a great blitz

with a sustain block tremolo

missing the arm. Is there a way to get an arm on there with out drilling the plate

or find a replacement . thanks keep on rocking

You need a generic Floyd arm, a M6 die, M6 nut, M6 Ny-loc nut, two M6 nylon washers.

The thread on the floyd arm needs to be extended further up the shaft, nearer to the bend. Put the ordinary nut on and tighten hard, then a nylon washer. Feed through the baseplate. Put on the other washer then the ny-loc nut and tighten to suit. The ny-loc nut won't loosen like a normal nut.

I think it's M6 but confirm the thread that Schaller use.

Just like the original but metric.

Edited to add that it is a M6 thread and for which the nuts are 10mm.

Sorry to bump, but I wanted to check that the advice was useful and whether you needed more detail?

I have just done exactly this modification on a 1983 Phantom A5 and it looks just right.
