larryl Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I over-indulged and bought a few too many guitars lately. Early Serial #575. I need to sell this to-die-for instrument. - Asking $2100 Shipped - CONUS (only). Influenced by the very best Strats from '62-'64, this 7 lb. 11 oz. Alder bodied Retro Classic has got everything the Texas Blues guitar player could want. Medium weight alder body offers seriously punchy midrange tone and a smooth low end, while retaining enough top end clarity to keep the sparkle intact. The neck is a Medium Roundback with a 1 5/8" nut width, made from the finest straight grain hard rock maple. The 10" radius and immaculate 6100 frets allows for supreme playability, yet perfect for the less timid player. Lindy Fralin Blues Special pickups bring the girth without losing the sweetness and the custom blend control allows for pickup selections not available on vintage Strats. Don's perfect nitro lacquer finish allows the beautifully muscular tone to come through un-hindered. Locking tuners and custom 1088 two pivot tremolo system keeps the vintage look and tone, while improving tuning stability to almost Floyd-like status. I am PayPal verified and have great eBay feedback. PM me if interested. larryl Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 No - the specs are correct - the description was changed. Thanks for pointing that out. These are pictures of the actual guitar.
larryl Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 This guitar is awesome! Anybody? I would also consider a trade for a Hamer Triple Threat or similar - a really nice Studio Custom, Monaco Super Pro, Gibson Les Paul, etc.
larryl Posted January 11, 2006 Author Posted January 11, 2006 Bump - eBay auction ends tomorrow. MINT condition!
