Early Years Woodstock '

Does anyone know if the same woods (i.e: Mahogany) were used on both the 4 Digit series and the early Sunburst models (77-80)?

My understand is that the early Sunburst models went out to Tom Holmes for pre-manufacture and so wondered if a different stock of wood was used for those..
