Question

Posted

I picked up this guitar a couple of days ago, and it needs some love and attention. While it makes it way to me from my brothers house (over a yet to be determined timeframe), I thought I'd start picking up some of the obvious parts that it needs.

1) One of the nut mounting screws has a broken head.  I think these are the correct replacements?

2) Missing a tremolo arm. Not sure which of these three is correct:

UPDATE: Ordered this:

3) Missing back plate.  I see in some other posts, these guys were suggested. Still the best place?

Some questions:

1) Are the tuners not original?  They look like M6 pins?

2) Is there a better place than StewMac to get parts?  I think the tremolo is a Schaller licensed Floyd Rose, so am I better offwith Schaller parts?  I'm in Canada...

3) Suggestions for the best thing to use to remove the sticker?

I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions/need more help restoring this one once it arrives, and I find out what else is wrong with it....

Thanks in advance.
