I have my now grown Son's Slammer by Hamer (Indonesian) that he bought for $50 over 20 years ago. I am going to clean it up and get it back into player condition over the next few weeks while I recover from hand surgery.
I have already cleaned the five way switch, fixed the crack in the headstock, and buffed off the tops of the pickups. Plays ok but it really needs a deep clean and polish.
I noticed that the tremolo is made by Floyd Rose. Is this the original bridge?
And, if I choose to replace the tuners and pickups does anyone have suggestions.
