OK So I received this "new" Hamer and guess what - yes it's like new. Perfect. Kind of amazing considering it is eBay. Most guitars I've bough on ebay, including a 12 string Eclipse recently, had unpleasant surprises like damage or wear not mentioned in the listing. This one was exactly as shown, and even looks better in person. I've been complaining about the pickups in the Eclipse 12 in another post but in this, my first 6 string Eclipse, they sound fine at first listen - something like the phat cats. I'll test and listen more later. Been wanting a 6 string Eclipse and don't think I could have done better than this!

Hey guys. I'm the one who bought this one. I'll let you know how it turns out. As per my other post a ltitle while ago I may try and do a pickup swap. Then again this may be one not to mess with. Will see.
