I had always been under the impression that when those stud-mount kahlers were installed a bit had to be routed out between the two 'parts' of a TOM. Doesn't look like that's the case here. Is that a myth? Or a mod for more range on the trem? Great Deal on this BTW. If I wasn't sickly upside down on some bills you'd have a PM!
