I know I'm gonna catch hell for this, but the best Tele I've played is a Peavey Reactor. I like the thickness, the radius and the finish on these necks.

Thanks for all the info. I am going to talk to the store again this morning, as I didn't have alot of time to talk to them Saturday. They claim the Daytona as near mint condition with a hard shell case.

Ya, I forgot he said it was made from parts they had at the factory that were never used. That might explain the 2002 date? I just turned 50 and they say the mind is one of the first things to go. I guess there not lying!

No he told me it was a 2002, I guess I should have asked for a serial number.

Does anybody know anything about the 2002? custom made USA Daytona on the Stutzmans website? It has Dimarzio pickups, vintage style bridge & Schaller tuning machines acording to their website. A gentleman at their store told me it was made by one of the Takamine employees who does all the custom and Artist work. I have it on hold right now to buy. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated! Thank You
