tomjoyce Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Hi, this is for trade, I recently bought a flying V new, and had my fav pickup combination put it, a Seymour Duncan Custom Custom and Alnico II Pro. Trying to re-live my flying V days, but it just isn't where the action is for me any more. Even with the new guitar sitting there, I still find myself picking up my Newport every time I play...This guitar is perfect, not a nick or scratch or mark of any kind. It sounds terrific, as I don't think you can beat these pups in a mahogany guitar. It would sound even better through a Marshall, as I used to have; now I have a univalve which is a bit of a mismatch. This comes with a soft case and the flying v stand in the picture, and it is set up with 10's right now. I don't really need another guitar, but I bought new and won't get my money back selling this V, so I'd like to trade for another hamer, so let me know what you have, thanks.
tomjoyce Posted April 23, 2006 Author Posted April 23, 2006 I guess so, I just looked on Musicians Fiend and they have the faded series for $600; I bought this in the store here and paid $630 for it plus the pickups install and setup. It was the only V they had and didn't say anything about faded, but that's what it appears to be, though it doesn't look "faded".
