JGravelin Posted May 26 Posted May 26 (edited) This was my fathers, left to me when he passed away. He barely played it and as such it is in excellent condition with only one small 1/8" oblong dent in the finish (not through to the wood) and some very mild, nearly imperceptible finish scuffing behind the bridge. He restrung it shortly before he passed away with a set of Savarez 520B Light Tension strings which have only been touched a handful of times since I've acquired the guitar. This guitar was made by hand in Spain and the craftsmanship is impeccable: Solid (not laminate) Indian Rosewood back and sides, a solid Cedar top with the traditional "fan" bracing, Mahogany neck with Rosewood overlay on the headstock and a thick slab of Ebony for the fingerboard. 52mm nut width, 650mm scale length. No strap buttons have been installed and no pickup either. This is a virgin guitar without alterations. It plays wonderfully and puts forth a big, beautiful tone that is very sensitive to the players attack and nuance. The guitar comes with a Made In Spain Barbados brand classical guitar hard case with original case key, also in excellent condition. Action/Setup: using a digital micrometer that measures to the thousandth, measuring from the 12 fret: 3.07mm on the bass side and 3.04mm on the treble side, averaged across 3 measurement attempts. There's about 2mm of height on the bridge saddle as well, so there's plenty of room to go lower and adjust to your tastes. Free Shipping in the USA Lower 48. Thank you. Here's the Reverb: https://reverb.com/item/90213329-esteve-1gr09c-classical-guitar-1996-natural-gloss ** photos added, not sure why they've been rotated 45 deg. Oh well. JGravelin Posted May 26 Author Posted May 26 It's easy to take more photos beyond what I've posted here and the 'verb so just ask. The guitar has zero cracks or issues, could very well be the perfect life-time guit for the right person that wants it. Thank you. Quote
