cswilder Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I've got four checkerboard 4x12s and three Metal Panel 100 watters so it's starting to get a little cramped in here. I'm selling a 71 Superlead and a 4x12 as a package deal in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area only. I do not wish to ship these items. Here are the details: 1971 Marshall Superlead. There are two extra holes in the back panel from reversed mods. The bulgin connector has been replaced with an IEC. I replaced/rewired the input jacks and returned some resistor values to stock to reverse some assinine pre-amp mods. I think one pot has been replaced as well. One replaced tube socket. Indicator lamp has been replaced as well. I also removed the orange drops and re-installed NOS Mustard caps. The iron and filter caps are all original. The circuit is stock and it sounds fantastic. Deafeningly loud with good gain. EH 6CA7 Power tubes and recent production preamp tubes are installed. The cosmetics are good with a few minor tears in the tolex. 1981 Marshall 1960A 4x12 Slant. Loaded with original Celestion G12-65s. The cones are all original and the cab is very clean. There are a few glued down tolex tears on the back panel and one replaced caster. The other three casters are original. You know what these speakers are worth by themselves so the clean cab is basically free in this package deal. I need $2000 firm for the set and would consider trading for something easier to ship like a guitar or two.
