anotherfreak2 Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 SN 151284 Crazy story, Ordered in 2000, I had had my Newport Pro for a little over a year and I was in heaven, I had always LOVED the salmon blush I had been seeing on Studios, so I ordered a second Newport Pro in Salmon Blush. Well, it came in as a Newport, bigsby and Phat Cats, and I was livid! I thought the finish was really washed out and IT was the WRONG guitar! to make it worse I was right in the middle of moving here to Iowa, so everything was in flux, ha, in fact my mom had picked up the guitar from the shop I worked in and drove it up to see me from Tulsa. I think I cried a little when I opened the case, I talked to Kim a little later that week, I was settling down into a new job, new house, and I had my main Newport that I was using anyway. Anyhow Kim sent me some Seths for it I sent the Phat Cats back to him, One of the Seths was dead I sent it back, yup it was dead, Kim sent another one out, and It has been rosey ever since! ha ha ROSEY! It also didn't have my usually huge neck either, but hey, variety right. it was my first experience ordering a custom guitar, ordered throught a shop that really didn't know how to do custom orders. It's a great guitar and here it just sits. needs a good home
