SouthernShred Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Okie dokie. This is a tough one, but I need to sell it. It has been sitting idle for over 3 months other than a setup and string change. Brent Worthington is a small builder out of Colorado that did this for me. I've recorded some great tracks with this guitar and played it live at a few gigs. I generally start feeling guilty if I've had a guitar sitting in the closet for a long period of time not getting any love. This one deserves to be played everyday and I'm just not doing it. I've owned probably 8 teles before this and never quite bonded with any of them completely...I suppose in the end, I'm not a tele guy. Here are the specs as I requested Brent Worthington to build it for me: -hand carved ash body -deep body contours, both belly and forearm cuts...deep as in 50's strat deep -thin nitro-cellulose mary kaye blonde finish -single ply black pickguard -Jason Lollar Vintage T pickups -Wilkinson 3 barrel bridge -Earvana compensated nut -Grover locking tuners -graphite string trees -medium jumbo frets -satin finished neck (back of neck is satin, fretboard is glossy and protected...VERY nicely done) -RS Guitarworks premium tele wiring kit Neck is a Warmoth Standard I believe (Brent can correct me) with 1 3/4" nut width. Issue...I carried it to and from a few gigs in a Fender deluxe gigbag which apparently has a natural rubber insert in the heel end of it to protect the guitar...it left a rectangular black mark on the nitro finish that isn't visible when you're playing it, only when you turn it over and look...it's visible in the pictures above that I took of the spot along the edge of the body. Guitar comes with a superlight hard case like this: $800 shipped in the lower 48 shannondew@gmail.com or PM with questions. I hate to part with her, but I'm not playing her and would like to see a great guitar get played more.
