Because Hamer will probably not make a checkerboard finished Junior, I assembled this guitar (with help, of course) from a refinished Gretsch Corvette body I found at a local amp repair shop. It is super lightweight, the body is SG-thin. The pup is a GFS New Yorker and all the electronics are new, as is the tone pros bridge. Real 1960s made in the USA wood for cheap ($800 shipped to con US for Hamer Forum members):
