I was reading about the little Gibson G5 I think it was? Has anyone tried one? If so what did you think? Anyway, if anyone is selling let me know.
Buster Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 I have a Crate V58 that I would consider letting out of the house...I don't know what kinds of tone you're looking for, but this is pretty loud for a 5 watt amp...and it has a lot of distortion, which could be tamed with a tube change.I don't have any pictures at the moment, but could provide you with some if you wish.The controls are quite simple, volume, tone, master. There is an input jack, and a line out which doubles as an effects loop. The speaker is an 8" Celestion. Oh, this version is the Crate version, which is made in the USA, not the version that GC sells now, which is produced in Vietman.Please let me know if you have questions...and if you're interested, we can talk about price then...Erik
