edgar_allan_poe Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 I kind of didn't want to respond to this one. (I know...that'd be first) Seems like a matter of perspective. I had a more classical music background. I know guys who would have to walk onto a recital hall stage by themselves, sing in a language they couldn't speak, convey emotion properly (because there were folks in the audience who spoke German/French/Italian/Latin - and snicker if you got it wrong) and still had to hit those notes. You either nailed it or you didn't. No second takes.YIKES!! That would be downright terrifying! LOL!! Singing live is easier for me because I am with a band, and if I can't hit a note I just back off the mic. You can't do that in a studio. You either have it, or they have to fix it. I was damn proud of the fact that they didn't have to fix it...at least not a whole lot. LOL!!
