Bass tone cap. value

What value capacitor would you use on a passive bass? I have used .022uF and it doesn't do much.

Would .047uF be better?

Same value for EMG active pickups or something different?

EMGs work best with .1uf but for passive it really depends on the value of the tone pot, but most Fender basses us .047uf (.05uf). Most Gibson basses use .022uf. Hope this helps.
