MTM105 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 this is allededly the loudest combo Amp on the planet.I promised myself I'd never sell it. IMO it's a collector's item. Its a work horse. Skynyrd toured with the same amp, 1977.I purchased it 1984. Didn't travel too much. It's too heavy.Overall condition of the Amp is very good for its age. It needs new caps. (I don't know how to do this)I replaced the tubes several years ago, but over the past 10-15 years it hasn't played much, (probably because of the caps). I mostly used this amp with low Watt practice head plugged directly into the speakers only. I will consider a best offer. I purchased a 2 X 12 Cab and have run out of space where I live. Wife isn't too happy.Again, this Amp is a workhorse and hasn't been tampered with (except for the fuse holder which was replaced by a professional). If you seek a very very reliable and very loud amp with collector's tone, this is it.I live in Nashville. I'm not gonna ship.other bands that featured this same Amp: Molly Hatchet and the Kinks Low Budget tour. I'm very tentative selling this. Money talks. Or maybe help fix it.
