steviej Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 You may have seen this before, and this is the last time...I swear. I've got a 1979 Les Paul Custom in the famous Randy Rhoads, creamy white. I would say it's in about an 8 out of 10 condition with the original case. The guitar looks beautiful, and plays incredible. It is all original except that it has been refretted with Jumbo frets. The guitar was also upgraded with a Graph-Tech nut when it was refretted. One speed knob was replaced with a matching one, and 2 new volume pots as the old ones didn't have any taper. There is some normal wear on the body and hardware, a small ding on the top edge of the headstock, and a small amount of minor "worming" on the back (nothing very deep or through the finish). There was also a small separation in the top where Gibson drove the tailpiece stud right in the midlde of on of the seams of the 3 piece top at the factory. However, it has been professionally sealed and is smooth to the touch. As bad as it looks up close, it's only cosmetic. The case is in good condition also. However someone "accented" the Gibson logo on the front with white paint . I am asking $2150.00 for the guitar which includes an additonal gold duncan 59' bridge pickup, gold schaller strap locks, and graph-tech saddles currently installed on the guitar. (original bridge pickup, strap buttons, and saddles included) NEW PRICE! $1975.00 Paypal'd & Shipped
