PSA: 1960 Ampeg Jet $350

"1960 Ampeg Jet J-12. Very nice vintage tube amp. Almost all original. A long time ago someone installed a jack between the trem control and the on/off switch. My guess is that it was intended for a footswitch for the tremolo. The jack is in place, but there are no wires connected to it and no solder on the lugs. Three of the capacitors have been replaced with modern Sprague Orange Drops. This is the preferred early version with 6SL7 octal preamp tubes and 6V6 power tubes with the 5Y3 rectifier tube.

Original Jensen alnico P12S speaker. Faceplate has some oxidation, but all copy is still clearly legible. Tremolo does not work correctly. When you turn it on, it briefly comes on, then goes away. My guess is that a complete cap job would probably fix it, but that's only a guess.
