USA Mirage Maple Top @ Daddy's Albany, NY

A buddy of mine who knows I'm into USA Hamers tipped me off to a 96' Kool Blue Mirage Maple Top at Daddy's Music in Albany, NY (ok...technically the store is in Colonie). They have it up on their website at www.daddys.com too (along w/ another Mirage Maple Top). Anyway, I stopped after work to check it out, not bad, could use a good cleaning/polishing though...probably an 8 out of 10 condition. Pickups look like the stock 59/JB. Some minor hameritis and a bit on the top of the fretboard that flaked away some of the finish. Neck feels medium w/ maybe a slight lean towards med.-chunky, frets look real good, a few dings most in the clear, a few into the finish (slightly), and a couple clear 'touch ups'. Hardware is in nice shape (Schaller locking tuners on this one), no rust or pitting that I could really see (just some fingerpring smudges). I didn't have a scale, but it felt lighter than the one I have so I'm guessing it's right around 8 lbs. give or take maybe 4 ounces either way. I didn't ask about the bar (it wasn't in the trem), and I don't think they have a case for it. Might be a tad on the high side at $800 for it's condition (I'd say good condition) compared to what kind of deal you might find on ebay, but still a decent guitar for the money. FWIW this one is the 'bluer' shade of kool blue instead of the more 'teal' shade of kool blue. I'm gonna pass on it as I already have one, but I figured I'd give a heads up to anyone here who might be interested.
