djj1492 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Hi all,I'm new to the HFC..I had the privelage of testing out what I believe was a 96 Studio at a friend's apartment and I was blown away. A lot of my friends have been sticking to their les pauls and since I played the HAmer I've been looking for a studio or special around that year. I'd love to get one of these and show them how awesome these things are. Since I just purchased some new gear not long ago I'd like to find a used hamer in good condition. Is $700-900 USD a reasonable price range for a studio between 93-98? I'm really into the combo of the 59 and JB pups. I would like to see something in a natural tone or sunburst, but i'm pretty open to anything at this point. I'd really love to get my hands on one of these.

djj1492 Posted April 28, 2009 Author Posted April 28, 2009 it's a beautiful guitar but I think I'm in search of a more natural color, amber, goldtop, or a sunburst... but the blue is pretty nice I must say. I saw that there is a 79 burst on the board but I don't know if I can spend 1,000 for it. I just purchased an american fender deluxe p bass not too long ago so i'm strapped for cash right now but seem to be having a case of GAS.
