kanegon Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 My 93 Studio has the thinner neck - not pencil thin - but thinner than my 95 Duotone. I would be a lot happier if I could trade it for another Studio with a fatter neck. I get a little cramped. It's a player, there are couple of finish chips (back of neck and next to jack), very slight buckle rash, few tiny jack dimples on the face. Still kinda pretty for a player. Okay, enough negative! I've kept it this long because it is the best sounding hummer I have. Damn. Also my first Hamer - now I've got three! (Why am I in this forum?) Would probably prefer a JB in the bridge rather than a '59. Also, never cared for CSB... I already have a gorgeous P90 Special, so no P90s I guess. SOP
atquinn Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 [jedi mind trick] You will[/i sell me that Special! [/jedi mind trick] Anyway, depending on how the next week or two goes, one or two of my Studio Customs will be for sale, but I won't be looking to trade and they might be a bit pricey. Hopefully someone on the board can help you out. -Austin
kanegon Posted June 15, 2009 Author Posted June 15, 2009 Adding a backshot BUMP. I thought more people prefer the thin necks. How about an FM?
kanegon Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 Are these 59 bursts really so ho-hum? Not one bite...I'd also consider trading UP to a FM or Studio Custom. Looking to buy at the same time, so open to offers - with maple cap and hums, but I prefer a player - as opposed to some nerve-wracking museum piece. Just want a post-95 neck carve.
atquinn Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 This might fit the bill. http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=35839-Austin
