elduave Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 One of my teachers asked if I could help get the word out. Pics and text from Justin: Asking $1300 shipped. Melancon Pro Artist T. Serial number 570. Chambered, swamp ash body, maple neck and fret board. Replaced the pickups with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound for Tele. (I have the original pickups as well). I found these pickups to generate more output and act as an all around boost to the already warm sound. It is super light (about 5.9 pounds) with a thin neck that plays great. Will throw in a professional setup with new strings, original pickups, and a gig bag. It is in great condition, but is not being used and needs a nice new home. There are a few small dings that I should mention. They aren't a huge concern, but I tried to include them in the pictures. There is a circular ding on the front of the body to the left of the bridge, and a similar one on the back. There are a few small blemishes on the side contour of the body that were really hard to capture, but in my opinion, are not a big deal. If you aren't looking you probably won't notice (as I JUST noticed them as I was photographing the guitar). If you want to check out the specs on the Melancon website, just go to www.melanconguitars.com and click on registry. (The serial number is 570.)
