I'm curious about these, and thought someone here may have experience with them that they could relate. Do they work like they're supposed to? Any pitfalls?

the bass models woork superbly, you need o ue the fine tuner screw on the bottom to adjust when you change strngs, different strings require a little more or less swng. and grease the cam every once n a while. I love 'em and have them on all my 4 string necks.

I have the bass one on a four string P-bass. Works great!

I put one on one of my teles. Works like a charm to give you instant drop D and and return it to E.

Highly recommended!

You will have to go up about .010 in thickness for the low E string to have good tensions at a tuning of D. So if you normally use 9-42 strings, you'd go .052 for the E now.
