Whats a fair price

My local Hamer dealer has a 2002 still hanging on the wall with a tag of 2599. Would it be fair to assume that seeing as it is 2005 that the guitar has depreciated even if it hasn't been sold. We're still talking about 3 years of test drives. What would be a fair price for this. Its a got a nicely flamed top, inlaid logo, victories, on the heavy side.

As a mini rant, I have been into this store several times cause I would like to support my local hamer dealer but he is never in the shop. I have still never seen him. He has a great local rep for repairs, setup, etc. However he also sells cellphones and half the shop is cellphone people who know absolutely nothing about guitars and they are the folks that run the music shop when he's gone, which is always. They are very reluctant to hand down any of the high ticket guitars without him being there. I'm amazed this guy is still in business. He has alot of nice Fender USA stuff, high dollar amps, a small stable of usa Hamers. The guy who appears to be his manager claims they have been a hamer dealer for over 25 years.

If the owner of the Mason City, IA Hamer dealer is a member here, I left my contact info with your store manager and for the record, the dude doesn't know how to tune a guitar and know less about Hamers than the stoner kids at GC.
