years ago, and a previous version of this board, Jason01 was checking the board from my house and created this moniker to log on with. Fast forward a couple years and I bought my first Hamer. When I tried to join, my IP address was already assigned to doody. He could of at least capitalized it. It is kinda descriptive of how my playing sounds though.

I've wondered whether the faux "case hardened" look could be applied to guitar hardware. It would be a great look on a white guitar. I'm kinda with stike about white, though. If you're springing for a custom refin, why go vanilla? Had anyone ever done a Tron+single ala phantom? I think that would be interesting.

I have always used valvoline but for no scientific reason other than my dad and brothers did. I have never had a problem it. I have blown motors but its always been my fault

The best sounding Les Paul I have played was the FM I traded to Zoner who traded it to brooks who sold it while I was broke as a joke. I have moved several guitars and thats the only one I miss.

93 T-62. Sold it to E-Ilse. Also had a 93 FM and a 93 p-90 special. Don't have any of them anymore, though. My only remaining Hamer is my 3 hole Duotone and that one will never leave.

My last round of guitar selling, I had them all professionally packaged by Post.net. The give the option of UPS, FedEx or USPS and they recommended UPS. I figure any claims would be much easier to deal with when the packing was done by pros. It added, IIRC, 22.50 to the shipping to have them build the box, add the packing matterials, etc. Well worth it when your shipping a 1k+ guitar.
