carfish7 Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 OK, so the Charvel I recently picked up is really getting me into playing again and I thought I'd address the only real weakness it has - the bridge DiMarzio single-coil. I've never been a fan of the standard Strat bridge tone, but have had a few exceptions when upgrading away from the low-output, thin, ice-pick tendency. Some sustain and balls would be nice, too! How about a DiMarzio Tone Zone S or a Chopper or Cruiser or something? Needs to be black and under one meelion dollars, so...... Whatcha got? BTW, other makes will be considered. I have had great luck with the JB jr and Little Screamin' Demon too, so hit me! Thanks. Z
