I just ordered a quartet of Eminence GB12s for $155 plus shipping. It said on the site they were previously installed for testing and taken back out right away, but the guy I just talked to is selling me 4 new ones for that price. The same deal might apply to other speakers they have listed.

they had soem pretty smokin deals on cabs with speakers installed and raw speakers a week or so ago. i guess they were trying to clear some overstock. great cabs. i have 2x1x12's and they are super. amazing cabs for the money. nice guys too.

Thanks for the heads-up! I just talked with Dave at Avatar and ordered a celestion vintage 30 and a celestion 70th anniversary special off the "scratch and dent page".

The V30= $69

This is by far the best deal on speakers I've ever seen. BTW.... after I ordered, he told me that these would actually be new because they had sold out of the scratch and dent stuff.

I can't wait to load these into my Egnater cabinet! I just wish I had known of these folks prior to buying the used empty egnater cab for $180. I could have gotten a brand new cabinet loaded with the above speakers for $245! Wow! Of course, I guess it will look kind of cool to have the matching eg cab for the head.
