harry65 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 in my insane and neverending quest for tone i acquired in another of my insane episodes of g.a.s some lindy fralin humbuckers , these are his vintage gibson clones , 9k and 8k bridge and neck respectively , didn't know what to do so i stuck em in my 93 studio , SCHHHWIIIING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! instant boner , this is the stuff chubbies are made of(enough schoolboy sex references for ya yet?????? ) , honestly these are amazing , the bridge is my fave , absolute clarity but warmth at the same time , the neck is all about the "woman" tone in spades , not my fave tone but inspiring nonetheless , i ahve always used lindy's single coils and found them to be in a word perfect , apparently his buckers are no slouches either , be cool.................
