ajay315 Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Took the day off from work, went out & played some 'spensive guitars, went to the book store...and came home to do a little work on the 25th Anniversary, which has been a wee bit neglected since the PRS came home. 1) new strings(Ernie Ball Classic Rock & Rolls) 2) Flizted the pickup covers 3) lemon-oiled the fretboard 4) Dunlop 65'ed everywhere I could Dayum. What a guitar. I warmed up the Deluxe Reverb Reissue, plugged in a Bad Monkey overdrive pedal, and went to town. Without an OD pedal, the JB bridge pickup gets a formidable old-school crunch through the DRRI. Stomp on the Monkey, and the '59 in the neck position just sounds liquid. Just figured I'd share...
Jorge Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 25th are amazing guitars indeed. I really miss mine, in tobacco sunburst no less.
