You could say that, but not in the sense that something like a superstrat is. Its like a thick, more midrange focused strat but with a full on p90 bridge rock sound available. You can take it more in the strat direction by using lower wind, like the lollars, or even more so by using the Harmonic Designs I had in the Korina, those can get a very nice chime.
