The old Slammer single coils keep up nicely with hot humbuckers, and aren't ice pick plinky. But, I need something in white for a strat, so I can't use any of my spares.
Have any of you habitual pickup taste testers come along a similar sounding single coil sized pickup with enough output? It could be a single coil, or stack/rail, whatever.
Has anyone asked Dimarzio what would sound the closest?
