holLoWskull Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I'm downsizing the gear, so I'd figure I'd put my Mesa 4X12 cab up for sale while I'm at it. I bought it new back in early 1994 and it's seen some road use (translated to...it has it's share of nicks and tears in the tolex covering, plus one rip in the grill that's been sewn up...NO SPEAKER DAMAGE, thankfully). It's the standard oversized birch plywood closed-back 4X12 design that can be run mono or stereo, 4 ohms or 8 ohms and has the stock Celestion Vintage 30's in it. It's currently at my band's singer's house, but I can get pix of the cab for anyone that's seriously interested. It's a tank, so I'd rather not ship it out if possible. I had a local music store offer me $400 in trade towards some gear he had in stock, but nothing that either floated my boat or what I need at the time so I'll offer it here for $375 US if using money order/cash/bank check plus actual UPS shipping and insurance charges from Latham, NY 12110. Be warned, this thing is heavy...around 110 lbs, probably gonna be about 115 or so packed up, so either check UPS's website to get an idea of how much shipping will be or e-mail me with your zip and I'll find out. I'm not opposed to non-US HFC deals, but I have to imaging the shipping would be astronomical, probably cost as much or more than the cab itself If you want to go the Paypal route, please add 3% to the final total. If anyone is willing to meet me within a 50 mile or so radius of Albany, NY I'll gladly do a local pickup deal with you! I'll probably give it the weekend here and then I'll either take the trade in offer that's still on the table (and get something I really don't need) or ebay it.

Went to HVCC for a couple years before the Navy and life outside the NE. Columbia High School '71. Colonie Mall. Rt 7 still the deadliest in the nation?Jim

Thank goodness there's only a few of us left here in the region that covet USA Hamers...keeps the competition down a bit and the haggling with stores still possible Anyway, Rt. 7 seems a bit more tame these days compared to the Northway and Thruway...Latham Circle still sucks though! Anyway, figured I'd give myself a shameless bump in the process...any interest in the Mesa cab? If I don't hear anything by Monday from anyone here, I think I'll take the "bird in hand" offer from the music store and maybe trade it towards either more PA equipment or a Genz Benz G-flex 2X12 cab, so if there's someone out there thinking about it, let me know before then.
