floyd rose nut width... for les paul

I'm losing my mind here. I'm installing a floyd rose in a 98 les paul SL. Its the cheap, flat top so dont freak out. What Floyd rose nut would I use with it? I found this chart that means nothing to me.

They recommend R3 for bound fingerboards or R4 for unbound (that's number 3 and number 4 in your linked chart).

They're both the same width but the R3 for the bound fingerboard has a slightly narrower string spacing to accommodate the way Gibson 'hump' their binding at the fret ends.
