Zoner Posted November 29, 2005 Posted November 29, 2005 This has been on my "take it to the grave" list since I got it, but I will not be able to take it after all, so here we go. This is a '95 with an Ash body (as evidenced by the strong "blue" looking streaks in the wood that peek out from the trans finish, plus the substantail weight), finished in trans white/creme. It is all stock and has a very beefy, beautifully figured Birdseye neck with what looks like a slight amber tint, and a Rosewood fingerboard. It has the locking Sperzels and Wilikinson trem, 3 Duncan Alinco PU's on a tortoise pickguard, and comes in the factory case. There is one small area of finish missing on the back bottom edge that is about the size of this "O" and a few small marks along the top edge of the headstock, but the rest of the guitar is very clean. The nickle hardware shows some of the usual wierd dulling, but there is no rust or heavy wear to mention. This is a solid, burly guitar that is unlike most Daytonas I have seen and I will miss it, but it's time to let go of all my "stuff" and not look back. If $800 is out of line, make an offer and feel free to call me @612-703-3990 with questions, comments or the like. I'm carfish7 on evilbay for refs. Peace.CJ
Zoner Posted November 29, 2005 Author Posted November 29, 2005 After some looking around at past Daytona sales, it looks like $800 is a bit steep, so let's pretend I said $700 shipped to start and don't be afraid to make an offer.ZP.S. The color is identical to one that sold on Ebay recently for $450 on a B.I.N. - that seems like a deal + 1/2!
