I'm selling a Carl Martin Octa Switch and a perspective buyer here from the forum has asked me this...and I truly don't know the answer.
He uses a Hamer Duo Tone which has two outputs -- so you can get an acoustic sound and an electric sound at the same time...
Could he run a guitar into one of the Loop "return" to switch it in? like adding the acoustic side of the Duotone? Basically being able to route his guitars at the stomp of a foot.
His idea is to run two loops for the separate electric and acoustic outputs of the duotone. Then use the dip switches to pick the input on the switcher with the routing of effects as well. He's thinking he would loose two of the eight loops, but doesn't really need that many.
Anyone know if this is possible w/ the Octa Switch?
Here's a quick image of the Octa Switch showing all the in's / out's for reference.
