I would, and have with my 812V, swap a Screamin' Demon for the JB. Add two A250K CTS SPST pots, a nice vintage capacitor and you have PP Vol add neck, PP Tone split bridge. Full HB add neck has never not been tasty on all the combinations of PACs I have. The Demon has more in common with a Strat bridge than a JB and compliments the SSLs very well. I only stumbled upon it from a Yamaha video. He's right. Yea who are looking for an under $1K solution should realize that Josh wires an HSS set for these based around the Charlotte. I have one.
