cswilder Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 My Brother has decided to move his 2000 model Newport in Black Cherry. I feel this is a mistake, but he's a primarily acoustic player so I can understand. It's in good shape with some minor playing wear. There is one small ding through the finish on the top of the headstock. The frets have some visible wear in the cowboy chord area, but have plenty of life left. The case is in servicable condition, but has a separated seam in the tolex on the back and a couple of other tears and scuffs. It is well set up and plays great. The sound with the phat cats is awesome. It weighs 7lbs 4oz on my digital fish scale. He'll take $900 shipped if anyone is interested. Email for a complete set of pics.
