tomteriffic Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I've got this rig up for sale on my local Craigslist but it occurred to me that the head may be of some interest to somebody. It's a circa 1975-76 first edition GK 400B bass head that has been around (the numbers are almost completely worn off of the knobs) but everything still seems to function fine and it sounds great with my Chap 4. The pix below show a well-used Peavey cabinet, but that isn't included. You wouldn't want it and I don't want to ship it. PS: the boost is one of the few out there that actually works without mushing things up. PPS: It's very well built, but not nearly as heavy as it looks. Anyway, after looking around some, I'm thinking something like $150 +actual shipping would be fair. Get me here or at: tomterifficATearthlinkDOTnet Pix
Turdus Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Never seen one of those. I, like most bass players, had a GK 400RB in the mid to late 80's. I had no idea they existed prior to that.
FrankieIII Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 I believe John Paul Jones used one of those at one point. Need I say more?...
