  1. I have a former client that has used this product (with excellent results) for the recovery of stolen laptops. This incident has got me thinking that in addition to a home security system it may not be a bad idea to leave an inexpensive laptop with no password and this software installed on it sitting in plain view in rooms with valuables for thieves to easily grab which could lead authorities to their whereabouts: http://lojack.absolute.com/ My insurance agent said to keep on hand good photos of all guitar equipment (showing serial #s) along with an appraised value of each item from a reputable source on their company letterhead. And make sure your policy has enough coverage for the items you would want replaced should they all disappear at once, and select a suitable deductible. I believe either $250 or $500 is the lowest deductible most offer.
  2. I don't appreciate your inappropriate and offensive comment for no apparent reason. I should report you to the admins here. Are you my creepy stalker?
  3. In lieu of the old "Hammer Explorer." ...LOL... http://www.themusiczoo.com/product/17462/Gibson-Custom-Shop-Benchmark-Limited-Edition-58-Figured-Explorer-Electric-Guitar-Washed-Cherry/
  4. Tell them to go watch an episode or two of Pawn Stars to get with the program...
  5. + 1 Oops.... This should be "fret at the 3rd" not 2nd. Or, another excellent method is to cut the depth of each nut slot so the clearance between the bottom of each open string and the top of the first fret is roughly the thickness of each string. Make sure nut is cut after truss rod and bridge saddle height are adjusted properly. No nut cutting in this case as it is a Floyd locking nut but thanks all the same! It's the same for either type regarding the proper string height at the first fret, but I realize you're limited with the Floyd nut since you can't cut each slot.

  7. My jaw hit the floor when I first heard this in 1984, and still does every time I hear it:
  8. I especially love the fabulous example of the looser/flimsy action of the vintage tremelo (versus Floyd) while he's dive bombing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lzzGWK5F_Lk
  9. Can you post more pics of that super cool white one? Thanks!
  10. Bud Light Platinum for bang (6% ABV) for your buck.
  11. You mean like this... One of three reviewed in Guitar Player. It popped up on eBay. Korina body with little candy red sparkles in the back. Seymour wound the pickups on a manual winder. It's the only one. See, this is why some of us love eBay...
