I'm looking for a hard case or decent gigbag recommendation for a Futura - you know, similar to the Rick Nielsen Model It doesn't need to be particularly fitted, more protective than anything else. Unsure whether it would go into a standard Explorer case, given the shape/geometry. Anyone know if a Ritter Bern gigbag would fit?

As a guy that adored Veruca Salt and Smashing Pumpkins 30-odd years ago, it's no surprise that I adore Momma. Spotify tells me they're my most listened to artist in 2025, as was the case in the previous four years. They are a low-fi delight on the ears.

I'd be curious about knowing the numbers as well, even to the nearest five or ten, and potentially how many are left. When I got mine, there was a bit of disinformation circling about how many Nikki Sixx had, with his scant disregard for the model, gotten through in the late 80s - I think he smashed one to bits at the Moscow show, there were others, too.

Volume volume tone. I was thinking about dropping in some of those big pole Delanos, but figured they'd just look weird. The only thing I couldn't find was a black Strat jack socket, so I got a chrome one and painted it black; I'd prefer a flat socket in black, as all my cables terminate in right angled Neutrik silent plugs. That's it! P

Three years ago (or thereabouts) I picked up a black FBIV on eBay (I'm in the UK). Pretty apparent the seller really didn't know what he had and I got it for a paltry £350 (c.$500). No case, but happy to say the Epiphone Thunderbird case is a perfect fit. I decided it would look better all black, so replaced the bridge and machines with like for like Schaller replacements. It sounds awesome, but to be honest I'm genuinely concerned about gigging it in case some thieving b*st*rd lifts it, so it gets regular trips out for rehearsals. Good hunting everyone. P
