I just listened to Hittin' The Note after at least 6 months of ignore. I've always remembered how good Desdemona and Illness were, but I had forgotten how much I loved "Maydell". Every once in a while, a little wah wah is good for the soul. Live at the Fillmore, however, is still my Deserted Island choice. Or is it Abbey Road? Screw it. I'm staying away from boats.

I've always loved "Love is Like Oxygen". Sort of a mini opus. I love the slow acoustic crescendo in the middle. Musically, I always thought it sounded like the result of collision between ELO's and Kansas' tour bus.

Stormy Monday- The Allman Bothers Band, Live at the Fillmore. No disrespect to T-Bone. And as much as I loved the beat on Bow Wow Wow's cover, it was Annabella all wet that did it for me.
