Zipper Neck Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I'm looking for a 2x12 cab to replace my 4x12. I'm using a Genz Benz El Diablo 100 head, so I need something that can handle that kind of output. Anyone have anything?

Last year or the year before, Mike Lee and I A/Bd a Z Best 2x12 and a THD 2x12 at Make'n Music in Chicago. The Z sounded way better to me. These are great cabs!Is the Z open-back or closed-back?
vockins Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 I have a tilt back, closed back Fender Tone Master 2x12, cream tolex with oxblood grill cloth loaded with celestion v30s. Tolex is "bar roomed", meaning drink rings, some grime, but no rips or tears. Would probably clean up great with some diluted simple green. The cabinet, the speakers, the grill cloth, and the logo are in perfect shape. $425 + shipping. I used to play a Park 150 through it with no issues at all. Sounds great.
