Drop thetension on the strings and polish with Dunlop65.
Pull the appropriate “ballon” end packing inserts to match the guitar box configuration.
In this case (NPI) the top ballon has a center compartment to hold the headstock case end in position. The round bottom (my favorite ooo lala) will wrap around the lower bout of case and hold it steady. In the center is a cardboard collar that holds the case at the neck join. I use 4psi for the ballons. I’m wary of them ending up on an airplane to Alaska and blowing a seal They’ll take 12psi, but I wouldn’t.
