Drop the tension on the strings and polish with Dunlop 65.

Pull the appropriate “ballon” end packing inserts to match the guitar box configuration.

In this case (NPI) the top ballon has a center compartment to hold the headstock case end in position. The round bottom (my favorite ooo lala) will wrap around the lower bout of case and hold it steady. In the center is a cardboard collar that holds the case at the neck join. I use 4psi for the ballons. I’m wary of them ending up on an airplane to Alaska and blowing a seal They’ll take 12psi, but I wouldn’t.

Tape that bitch. I use the heavy duty stuff as a wearing surface at the corners

Label nicely 46” x 7” x 19” around 24 lbs for an electric. Cube minimum weight will be more like 33 lbs
